Move through realistic villages in the far east and let the atmosphere of the Asian warriors take hold of your mind. In the near future you not only will fight with sword and bow, but you will also have the ability to use the refined way of the Bells and Fans.

Intelligent monsters will attack you in groups

You can inflict heavy wounds to multiple enemies at once. But be careful: When one monster is defeated, the others will not leave you alone. You must be especially wary in areas around the Metin Stones!

Create or become a member of a powerful guild and take complete control your empire.

As a member of a guild the results of your Guild Fights will have effects on both every guild member and the guild itself. You must fight to gain possession of one of the rare strongholds. As your guild´s might rises, you will get the chance to use Non-Player-Characters in your stronghold and train them to be more effective.

Fight other empires in the middle of the continent.

In hand-to-hand combat you will fight against other players from different empires for the domination of the continent. The victorious empire gains possession of money and land. You will gain Glory and Honour, as well as, earn a higher military ranking and lead other guild members in future Kingdom Battles.

Character Classes

Metin 2 warrior

Warrior

Thanks to their skills as well as their heavy armour, Warriors play an important role in close-combat situations. They strive principally for great physical strength and a balanced, calm psyche.

Depending on their chosen speciality, they can wreak havoc with their two-handed weapons or through their skilful use of sword and shield, which can defend against any opponent’s attack.

Metin 2 ninja

Ninja

Ninjas are professional killers, who can attack through ambush. In order to maximise on both strength and mobility, these assassins wear only light armour. This allows them to execute rapid and fluid maneuvres without hindrance.

Depending on their area of specialization, Ninjas can be master fighters in close-combat situations with daggers, or in distant-combat situations with bows.

Metin 2 Shaman

Shaman
The wisdom achieved through long years of intense study allow the Shamans to use Spells and Magic to attack their foes. When in a fight and in support of their friends, their mystic powers are very effective.
Depending on their area of specialization, Shamans may choose to strengthen their attacks, or to upgrade individual healing and support spells.

Metin 2 sura

Sura
Suras are fighters who gained magical powers by agreeing to grow the Seed of Evil in their arms. The magic they now control allows them to wound their enemies from afar in distant-combat situations, while their skill with a sword makes them excellent close-combat fighters.

The Suras can choose to improve their attack-spells or develop additional strengthening spells.

Empires

• Chunjo Empire

The Chunjo Empire is located in the western part of the continent. It is a theocratic empire and is controlled by its spiritual leader.

It was founded by Yoon-Young, a cousin of the former emperor. Yoon’s wife possessed vast magical powers, and it was she who discovered the threat of the Metin Stones and supported him in his struggle to contain it. Several times he recommended the initiation of countermeasures against the Metin Stones, but he was always ignored. Thus he led his fellowship in a rebellion against the former empire. After the disintegration of the former empire, Chunjo is still engaged in open warfare with the Eastern and Southern empires.

Their aim is to take control of the entire continent and to defeat the growing power of the Metin Stones.

• Shinsoo-Empire

The Shinsoo-Empire is located in the southern part of the continent. The main activity of the population is trade.

Opened after the disintegration of the former empire by Yoon-Yoing, trade with the east quickly became a profitable arrangement. Shinsoo has conflicts with the western empire and the trade road can be dangerous. When they recognized the threat posed by the Metin Stones, the merchants armed themselves.

Their aim is to defend themselves against western attacks, reopen the trade road and reunite the former empire under their Emperor.

• Jinno Empire

The Jinno Empire is located in the eastern part of the continent. This empire was founded on military might and the population is aggressive and militant.

The leader of the Jinno Empire is Ee-Ryoong, the son of the last emperor. He believes that he can reunite the former empire through war.

Fears about the implications or effects of the Metin Stones are officially ignored. But secretly Ee-Ryoong is trying to find a way to use the deadly power of the Metin Stones for military purposes.

Last Words

1. Register

Register Metin 2 if you don`t have an account. Just enter your desired user name, your email address, a password of your choice and confirm that you have read the terms and conditions. After a few minutes you will receive a confirmation email that will contain a link. Follow the instructions of the email to activate your account.
2. Download and install

Download the game software in the download section of our page. A double click on the setup document will start the installation. Then choose a place on your PC setup where you would like Metin2 to be installed.
3. Start Metin2

After you have installed the game, you will see the Metin2 symbol on your desktop. Additionally there will be an entry for Metin2 in the Windows start menu. Double click on the desktop symbol or choose an option from the start menu, to start the game. When necessary, Metin2 will update itself automatically to the newest version of the game, which may take several minutes.

After the update you can fill in your account details and choose a game server. Subsequently you will have to choose from one of the three kingdoms and will then be able to create a character. Remember, that you can only use each character in the server in which you created it.
